On Urban And Rural Writing Of Fu Xiuying’s Novels

Fu Xiuying,a contemporary female writer who is known as the inheritor of the Lotus Garden School,writes the trivial daily life of the villagers in the new century by virtue of her fresh and simple lyrical way,showing the great migration of native China in the new era and the hidden worries behind it,and has a unique personal recognition among the "post-70s" writers.Fu Xiuying published an article "Love Spread Everywhere" in 2009,which aroused widespread concern in the literary world.From then on,she really opened her literary path,and then published a large number of short stories,and she still keeps writing till now.Most of her works focus on Fangcun,the hometown of literature,and Beijing.Based on the charm of inheriting classical beauty and combining modern techniques,she sketched out the local customs of her hometown in a calm and quiet style,showing the writer’s emotional concentration and people-oriented feelings.This paper will study Fu Xiuying’s urban and rural writing from three aspects: daily urban and rural writing,deep interpretation of characters and diversified narrative strategies.The first chapter is the daily writing of urban and rural areas.This chapter will start with the content of Fu Xiuying’s novels,and study the poetic countryside and the urban impression in the corner.In ordinary and trivial daily life,we should examine the psychological evolution of villagers after the end of farming civilization,and pay attention to the vivid and real living state of urbanites with another pair of pen and ink and women’s unique emotions.The second chapter is the deep interpretation of the characters.This chapter will focus on the intellectuals who are "double-edged greening" in Fu Xiuying’s works and the new local farmers under the secular conditions,showing that the young people in the city are exhausted physically and mentally in the bustling city,and pay attention to the plain but plump villagers.The third chapter is diversified narrative strategies.This chapter discusses the narrative strategies of Fu Xiuying’s novels,which mainly show the narrative wisdom of Fu Xiuying’s novels in four aspects: diverse narrative perspectives,unique spatial narrative,humble narrative posture and poetic narrative style.
