One of the difficulties in narrative writing in Chinese as a foreign language is that students have nothing to say.The main reason for this problem is that students lack practical and emotional experience of related writing topics.Task-based teaching method can effectively solve the problem that students have nothing to say in writing.This thesis is based on the author’s practice of teaching foreign students’ writing in the School of International Cultural Exchange of Lanzhou University,and discusses how to teach foreigners Chinese narrative writing from the perspective of task-based teaching.Specifically,the thesis mainly has the following parts:First of all,the article discusses the combination of task-based teaching method and writing teaching from a macro background perspective.The definition of task,the proposal,development and theoretical background of task-based teaching method are combed,and on this basis,the application of task-based teaching method in writing teaching is discussed.Secondly,the tasks are decomposed and studied from the perspective of specific links.In the task target part,it discusses the relationship between the task and the target,and designs the teaching task according to the target.In the task proposal part,it discusses how to propose tasks based on factors such as the difficulty of the task and the students’ level of composition.It also analyzes the teaching principles and characteristics of the task-based teaching method when the task is proposed.The task implementation link explores the ways to implement tasks,which teaching principles must be followed,and reflects the characteristics of task teaching.In the task inspection link,discuss the implementation of the task,the effect of the completion,and think about how to improve.Finally,the article takes "Inerasable Memories" as an example,it conducts pre-testing on students to find out the existing problems firstly,and then carry out researches and case demonstrations on the task proposal,implementation,and inspection links from the overall perspective to put forward the problems that need to be paid attention to in the application of task-based teaching method in the teaching of narrative writing.
