Along with philosophy itself, the issue of "Death" has been discussed by people as an important topic concerning human survival, current situation and development in the long history of human development.Especially with the gradual evolution of society, religion, art and science in the western world under the influence of metaphysics, the philosophy of death has experienced four stages successively with distinct philosophical characteristics, including "The surprise of death","The desire for death","The indifference of death" and "The face of death".However, they have not explored a bright way for the human "Death dilemma" fundamentally, but gradually escape from the death itself.Based on the foundation of "Being",Heidegger opened up a new path for the problem of “Death” with the emergence of ontology, cleared on the misunderstandingCleared up the misunderstanding of traditional metaphysics about "Death" which is not true, and provided the theory of authenticity and wholeness facing death for human beings. This article will sort out the traditional philosophy of death from the western history of death philosophy, make the distinction between Heidegger’s ontological meaning and the traditional metaphysical existential meaning on the question of "Death" through the question of "Being",expatiate the issue of "Death" in the sense of ontology by the connection and foundation of the basic ontology such as "Dasein","Being in the world" and "Fear" and pulls "There-being" from the normal state back to the true state of "Being to death",and provides people with a "Death view",The most personal, unrelated, insurmountable, certain and uncertain possibility of "Dasein" to get rid of the end of existence and towards the end of existence.
