In the process of analyzing the development and evolution of the linear language in China and the West and summarizing and discussing the art forms,it is mainly to excavate the charm of the "Su" in the linear language,with the different presentation of the "Su" language in terms of form,aesthetics and technology,and combined with the artistic characteristics of the "Su" language in the etchings,the author tries to find out that in today’s diversified artistic environment,how to trace back to the source,absorb and draw lessons from traditional Chinese and Western painting cultures,and show the artistic charm of the "Su" language in the "line" language,so that the line can get a benign development,while pursuing the distinctive features of the Times,give the line a free space to dance.With the diversification of art,trying to find the connection point between modern art and Chinese traditional art,It can not only combine the artistic charm of the “line ”language "Su" with that of the copperplate etching,but also separate the "Su" language which has formal meaning and emotional charm from the object,only in this way can the "line" language always be able to speak independently in contemporary engravings.
