Research On Metadiscourse Makers Of News 1+1 From The Perspective Of Fusion Of Horizon

Metadiscourse markers,as a coordinate with organizational functions and interpersonal adjustment functions are widely existing in discourse,have attracted much attention from domestic and foreign researchers in recent years.This article creatively combines Gadamer’s Horizon Fusion Theory with Metadiscourse Theory,and considers that metadiscourse markers are a means for communicative participants to integrate Horizons,and explore Metadiscourse markers in TV news talk show "News1+1" from the perspective of Horizon Fusion Theory.This article mainly has these parts: the introduction part introduces the research object,research purpose and significance of this article and research method.The first chapter briefly summarizes the theory of fusion of horizons and metadiscourse markers,trying to grasp the linguistic view contained in the philosophical hermeneutics of fusion theory of horizons,grasping the characteristics and distinguishing standards of metadiscourse markers,and preparing for subsequent research.Chapter Two classified the metadiscourse markers in News 1+1 from the perspective of fusion of horizons,namely,metadiscourse markers for understanding,metadiscourse markers for creation,and metadiscourse markers for criticism.The third,fourth and fifth chapters are the core part of this article.In Chapter 3,we use the corpus research method to calculate the frequency of the three major categories of metadiscourse markers and the sub-categories in "News 1+1".The distribution looks at the program discourse,and discusses the characteristics of metadiscourse markers in the program and the meaning of the fusion of the distribution.In Chapter 4,we draw on the research results of cognitive psychology and metacognition theory,and combine program discourse analysis to focus on expounding the visual fusion mechanism of metadiscourse markers "awakening-understanding-fusion",and we believe that the three are not linear but works at the same time,and this fusion mechanism of vision exists in both speech coding and speech decoding processes.Chapter 5 focuses on the functions of metadiscourse markers in programs.We believe that metadiscourse markers have four major functions in the program: constructing the subject’s dialogue context,realizing the highlighting of the program’s horizon,identifying the discourse organization framework,and realizing multi-dimensional understanding of discourse.Through the above research,we have come to the conclusion that metadiscourse markers are an important means of fusion of horizons in programs,reflecting the intersubjectivity of discourse.Metadiscourse markers are a reflection of the metacognitive monitoring of communicative subjects.The analysis of the fusion mechanism of metadiscourse markers in the program proves that smooth communication and the use of metadiscourse markers are in a two-way interactive relationship.Starting from the theory of fusion of horizons,the openness and versatility of metadiscourse markers correspond to each other,which provides great convenience for not only our understanding of synchronic and diachronic discourse but also discourse from inside and outside.
