| During the period of the Republic of China,China had held seven National Games.Currently,academic research on the National Games of the Republic of China is still being in the ascendant.The existing studies focus on the analysis of the integrity of the National Games of the Republic of China,most of them are from the view of politics and competitiveness.The research on the sports events,sports characters of the National Games of the Republic of China from the perspective of journalism and communication with the method of journalism are rare indeed.The academic investigation of production process,communication process and communication effect of the sports news are still wanting.The existing literature on the history of sports news in the Republic of China is relatively rare and scattered,as some scholars from the microscopic aspect principally cite a single newspapers and periodicals’ National Games report as the study object,academic research on the macroscopic study is very weak.The sports history of the Republic of China,as a branch of modern Chinese history,is an essential part of Chinese Sports history.Besides,the key content of sports news of the Republic of China is the National Games,hence the need for enhancing research into National Games of the Republic of China,particularly in sports news of National Games,not only is a supplement to news history of the Republic of China,but also a scientifically rethink of sports history of the Republic of China.Starting from the comprehensive study of the National Games’ report of the Republic of China,we can probe into historical periodicity,guiding ideology,sports professionalism,and analyse the journalistic practices with the case study and merger study.As the result,we can find the internal relevance between the sports and national salvation,as well as that between the sports and national prosperity,furthermore,we can provide references to the construction and development of the current sports report. |
