The Study Of Xie Wuliang’s Academic Thinking

The period of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China was a period of dramatic changes in the history of Chinese academic thought.Mr.Xie Wudang was an important scholar who went through the period of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.His life experience and ideals made him devote himself to the changes of The times at the beginning of the 20th century,and played an important role in the history.This paper aims to analyze the connotation of Xie’s academic thought through the study of his life experience and academic works,and to reconstruct the real and vivid Xie Wuliang from the perspective of Chen Yinke’s "sympathy of understanding".This paper first sorts out Xie’s life experience,then combined with his life experience and academic works,summarizes the characteristics and achievements of Xie’s academic thought,and finally summarizes the reasons why Xie was forgotten by history.Xie wuliang,in the broad ideological agitation between east and west,tradition and modernity,formed a pluralistic ideological fusion body with the background of Confucianism,fanally became a modern scholar with unique personal characteristics in the late qing dynasty and the Republic of China.
