YuHuQingHua is an unofficial history book written by WenYing,it conserves much historical events and information from the Five Dynasties to the Northern Song Dynasty.To a certain extent,it has the function of supplementing and verifying history.,and it’s historical value always catches the sight of researchers.But in fact,in addition to it’s extremely high value of historical data,the literature value also should not be ignored.Unfortunately,so far,the literature value has not attracted enough attention.In this theory,writer thinks that the YuHuQingHua has much higher literature value.The literature value of YuHuQingHua mainly shows the next two aspects.The first is about literariness by itself.WenYing has created the wonderful plots which is twists and turns,described many picturesquely kinds of people,which just in a brief brushwork in the book.Besides,it’s language also full of characteristics.The second aspect refers to its literary thought and literature-criticism.YuHuQingHua preserves many poems and poetry anthologies.Not only did the author preserve the work,but also give them some critical opinions.Although it seems very scatter,those opinions reflect the special insights of the author.It’s apparent that the book will did much more importance to the researching of Zhiguaixiaoshuo and some activities of appreciation.So,the theory divides into four chapters.:The first chapter sets an angle of literary,mainly concentrating on WenYing’s life experience and social contacts,analyzing which is his native place,exploring how the social activities do influence on his writings,and examining the loss or exist of his books.Discussing the source of Yuhu Qinghua and other issues,such as the spread of the version,WenYing has a lot of social contacts in his life,the source of the book’s materials includes his own ears and eyes,or quotes from others.In terms of edition,the book has two names,sometimes calls Yuhu Qinghua,sometimes calls Yu Hu unofficial history.The second chapter focuses on the literary nature of the book,and discusses its characteristics in plot,characterization and language.The third chapter mainly analyzes and studies the literary-criticism involved in the book,highlighting its value for later literary appreciation and criticism.The fourth chapter mainly investigates the historical circumstances of Yuhu Qinghua and the value of literary historical materials.Like its author WenYing,Yuhu Qinghua has encountered many criticisms and slanders throughout its life,maybe related to literature itself,maybe about political influence.Through the study of the historical circumstances and literary status of Yuhu Qinghua,You can get a good understanding of WenYing and trigger more new thinking on Zhiguaixiaoshuo.
