Research On Visual Language Characteristics Of Modern Fiber Art

Up to now,modern fiber art has formed an art category with its own theoretical system.Compared with traditional fiber art,modern fiber art pays more attention to concept and creativity.The visual presentation of modern fiber art exists in visual things.According to the properties of the required materials,artists select the corresponding materials and weaving techniques,apply certain methods and principles,grasp the relationship between various elements within a certain range,and finally form images that can convey specific information.Thus it can be seen that fiber art has the essential attributes shared by art.Modern fiber art can bring people visual aesthetic experience,show the visual pleasure of artistic works through artistic language,so as to express the emotion of the author.It is precisely because modern fiber art is based on the visual presentation of materials that it is studied by combining it with visual language.First of all,the paper summarizes the modern fiber art and visual language through the collation of literature materials to understand the visual language of modern fiber art.Secondly,the paper summarizes and sorts out the visual language of modern fiber art,mainly studies it from four aspects:material,structure,form and concept,and verifies it by combining the works of representative artists.Finally,the author elaborated the visual language characteristics embodied in the creation process of the graduation work Boundary.
