Study On The Application Of The Theme Action Of The Couple Latin Show Dance

Famous American dance historian Curt Sachs once said that "although dance has the characteristics of wild and religious etiquette,it has changed from crazy activity and ceremonial etiquette to conscious art work designed to be appreciated ".With the continuous exchange of world culture,how to make the western dance,oriental beauty and Chinese soul in the perfect integration is an extraordinary important task and how to use it that’s also very important because when the theme and action combined,theme action is the most intuitive expression.As the most intuitive expression,the theme action needs to be closely related to the structural elements,time elements,composition elements,music elements and Stage art when it used in the work.At the same time,we should grasp the characteristics and purposes of theme action and combine it with the era.Based on the previous theory that “ The more theme action used in dance work,the higher score they can get” of International couple Latin showdance which written by Tian Yuan in Beijing Sport University,this paper further explores how to use the theme action in the couple Latin showdance works,through literature review,expert interview,video observation,logical analysis methods to research the theme action in 2013 and 2015 couple Latin showdance works of China Ballroom Dance Federation(CBDF),The main findings are as follows:(1)In terms of structure,the theme movements of a couple Latin showdance are often used in the first and middle segments,mostly for the cross-use of the expression mood and the expression plot,mainly for the expression of more intense emotions,and it also can be used as a clue,mostly used in the space-time staggered structure.(2)In terms of time,the theme action should appear high frequency in the work,couple Latin showdance work have theme action reproduction and theme action expansion.The rule of theme action reproduction is "short time,repeated ",which can be reused on the basis of short time.The application law of theme action expansion is "long time,constantly changing ",which Change movement way on the basis of each long time.Theme action reproduction focuses on deepening the prototype image of theme action and theme action expansion focuses on enriching theme action types.(3)In terms of picture,the theme action of the couple Latin Showdance often choose to complete the theme movements at the center of the stage and the march way.Line expressions are often used to express characters’ emotions on the route,long lines can be used,length of lines,line shapes and angles should be combined with the actual situation of the theme,and the theme should be emphasized by the center of the stage.When expressing the balance and temperature of the relationship between the characters,to highlight the great energy of stability and harmony,to choose the symmetrical composition;to highlight the inequality of the relationship between the two,to highlight the unequal relationship between the two or highlight the contradiction and plot changed,choose asymmetric composition.(4)In terms of music,when couple Latin Showdance theme action express music emotion,it often introduced in the beginning of each splicing music,combined with lyrics,monologue and orchestration tone to convey the voice of the characters,lyric music with piano timbre with theme action;integrate into music rhythm,4/4 beat fusion of Rumba elements for action time and speed changes to express the different feeling.(5)In terms of stage art,the theme action of the couple Latin Showdance should be closely integrated with the props in the process of application,and the choice of carry-on props and fixed props should be carried out in combination with the specific forms of the theme movements.(6)Theme action creation of the research idea of couple Latin Showdance from two points,the first is the double Latin art performance dance theme action use characteristics :double Latin showdance theme action pursuit of " cooperation " deeply rooted,mainly using the internal emotional interaction and external form correlation about the expression of "cooperation ".Secondly,the purpose of the use of double Latin showdance and dance theme action : from the macro perspective is to make the theme idea more distinct,make the theme color more rich,focusing on the form of freehand brushwork.From the micro perspective,it is to sublimate the theme structure,deepen the idea of the works,condense the Latin elements,enrich the figure image,create a reasonable artistic conception,and integrate Chinese and Western aesthetics.
