In the English writing teaching,there are some problems.For example,teachers and students pay insufficient attention to writing,students are lack of interest,writing lessons are inefficient,and the workload of teachers’ writing feedback is too large.PBL teaching mainly includes raising questions,solving problems in groups,evaluating and giving feedback on the results.However,most researchers mainly study the PBL teaching model as a whole,and few emphasize the impact of feedback in the PBL teaching model on the English writing quality.However,the impact of feedback is very important to the English writing,so this thesis applies the PBL teaching model based on multiple feedback to English writing teaching in high school,aiming to answer the following two questions:1.What impact does the PBL teaching model based on multiple feedback have on the accuracy,fluency,and complexity of students’ English writing?2.What impact does the PBL teaching model based on multiple feedback have on students’ writing attitudes?The subject of this study are 51 students in class 14 which is the control class and50 students of class 19 which is the experimental class.The students that are taught by the same English teacher in the two classes are in the same level of English writing,and there is no significant difference in writing accuracy,fluency and complexity indicators.The experimental class adopts the PBL teaching model based on multiple feedback,and the control class adopts the traditional writing teaching model.In order to better solve the research problem,this research adopts three research methods:English writing test method,questionnaire method and interview method,and uses SPSS 18.0 for data analysis.Through the 16-week teaching experiment,it is found that the PBL teaching model based on multiple feedback can significantly improve the accuracy and fluency of students’ English writing,but it has no significant effect on the complexity of students’ writing.After the implementation of the PBL teaching model based on multiple feedback,students’ enthusiasm for writing has increased significantly.There has been a significant change in students’ attitudes towards writing,and more students recognize the important role of writing in improving the overall ability of English.This research confirms the PBL teaching model based on multiple feedback has more advantages than the traditional writing teaching method.
