| The Hexagrams-Shi theory is the core of Wang Bi’s Yi ology, which is an important tool for Wang Bi to expound his philosophy of Yi ology. Therefore,it is a meaningful attempt to study Wang Bi’s Yi ology from the perspective of divination.Tang Yongtong and other scholars have long paid attention to Wang Bi’s Yi theory. In recent years, some scholars try to study Wang Bi’s Yi ology from the perspective of Yi style. But at present, there is still a lack of enough attention in the academic circle. The author thinks that the Hexagrams-Shi theory is the core of many styles of Wang Bi’s Yi ology.Wang Bi made use of the Hexagrams-Shi theory to supplement the theory of meaning taking, defined the basic way of meaning taking, and established the paradigm of interpreting the connotation of 64 hexagrams. Then, with the help of the master of hexagram theory and the hexagram-qi theory, the meaning of the 64 hexagrams is carried out in 384 Yao.Therefore, the author hopes that this paper can make a systematic study of the hexagram time theory in Wang Bi’s Yi ology. This paper first interprets the basic meaning of the concept of "shi" in Yi ology before Zhuan from the perspective of genealogy, and further analyzes the inheritance and development relationship between the concept of "Shi" in Wang Bi’s Yi ology and the concept of "Shi" in early Yi ology. In the early concept of wizards’ time,"Shi" had three meanings: natural time, historical time and human time. These three meanings are mixed. In the era of Yi Zhuan,Xiang and Shuo theory mainly understand the concept of "Shi" from the perspective of natural time, which leads to the tradition of Yi ology in Han Dynasty that Yi ology attaches importance to the concept of time scale."Yu",on the other hand, mainly understands "Shi" from the perspective of historical time, reflecting a strong human cultural color.Wang Bi inherited and developed the theoretical tendency of paying attention to the social meaning of "Shi" in Yu.He used the theory of hexagram time to abandon the number of falling images, and sublated the tendency of measuring "Shi" in the pre Yi ology of Zhuan. This is one of the important characteristics of Wang Biyi’s Yi ology. Both the theory of time and the theory of Qi in the study of changes in the Han Dynasty used "Shi" to explain the meaning of hexagrams. The author believes that the fundamental difference between the two lies in the understanding of the concept of "Shi".In the second chapter, the author first clarifies that the "Shi" of the hexagram Qi Theory in the Han Dynasty is a concept of time scaling.Represented by Meng Xi and Jing Fang, the Yi scholars of Han Dynasty constructed their theory of heaven and man by giving some special meaning of personnel to the concept of scaling time. Then the author realized that "Shi" in Wang Bi’s hexagram time theory refers to a special situation or situation. With such a new set of hexagram time relationship,Wang Bi further humanized the book of changes, weakened a transcendent and dominant heaven, and got rid of the mysterious system of heaven and man in the Han Dynasty. In the third chapter, through the comparative analysis of Wang Bi’s hexagram-shi theory, his theory of taking meaning, the theory of hexagram master and the theory of divination position, the author discusses that the theory of hexagram time is in the core position of Wang Bi’s interpretation of Yi.It also shows Wang Bi’s specific method of constructing his Yi ology’s life theory and righteousness theory system by using the system of Yi style with the core of hexagram time theory. On this basis, the author further discusses the general characteristics of Wang Bi’s Yi ology and his specific outlook on the theory of life. |
