Zhang Xuecheng’s Comments On The Style Of Si Maqian’s Historical Records And His Re-understanding

Zhang Xuecheng was a famous historian and historical thinker in Qianjia period of Qing Dynasty.He lives in the era of style of study,which advocates simple learning and textual research in the world,but can not practice favoritism in the atmosphere,and advocates that the study should be carried out,so he moves towards a maverick studying.Its academic orientation is mostly to criticize the academic,since the six classics,literature,historiography,local chronicles,school science and so on have dabbled in,and strive to explore the historical examples and the source of the school,that is,to distinguish the academic,examination mirror source.His works "General Meaning of Literature and History" and "General Meaning of the School" are important theoretical works reflecting his life and academic thoughts.The two books show each other’s academic purposes,In combination with the two books,we can find Zhang Xuecheng’s excellent knowledge of ancient academic criticism and summative,and finally present the characteristics of the end and evolution of ancient Chinese historiography theory.Zhang Xuecheng commented on the famous historians and historical books of the past dynasties before the Qianjia period of the Qing Dynasty in the Tongyi of Literature and History and the Tongyi of the School.Among them,the pen and ink of Si Maqian’s Records of the History were of great importance.There are five aspects to be improved,such as the lack of books,the coexistence of merit and demerit in the classic of the family,and the introduction of the biography.From the comprehensive analysis,Zhang Xuecheng still shows a critical attitude on the whole,which is worthy of our careful combing and summing up.It is believed that it is of positive significance to further deepen the understanding and reflection on Zhang Xuecheng’s historical theory.Zhang Xuecheng’s comments on the style of Si Maqian’s Historical Records are not discussed in a special article,but are scattered in his narration about the six Classics,historiography,literature,local chronicles,and school science.We sort,summarize,analyze,Summary and re-understanding,help us solve the two major directions of the problem.The first is about the study of historical history in the Historical Records;the second is about the study of Zhang Xuecheng’s historical thought.As for the study of the historical history of the Historical Records,the following problems can be solved: first,the history of the Qin Dynasty recorded after the Qin Shihuang;second,the "evil on the side" of the three generations generations table ";third,the "twelve years table ",the" thirteen "problem;fourth,the" six years table ",the "six words six ",the"seven "problem;fifth,the" the order of the kings since the Han Dynasty "became Book issues;sixth,the formation of the eight books of the Historical Records;seventh,the 30 families of the Historical Records follow the old national history;eighth,the completion of the three Wang families;ninth,the use of the unique method and the mutual view method in the Historical Records;tenth,the classical bibliography status of the Historical Records.This topic involves the study of Zhang Xuecheng’s historiography thought,which can deepen our understanding of the following theories and ideas: first,Zhang Xuecheng’s simple historical concept;second,Zhang Xuecheng’s concept of "six classics are all history ";third,Zhang Xuecheng’s theory of historiography;fourth,Zhang Xuecheng’s " writing " and "memorizing notes " Fifth,Zhang Xuecheng’s philosophy of "Spring and Autumn" and "Zhou Li ";sixth,Zhang Xuecheng’s thought of " the scholars come from Wang Guan’s theory ";seventh,Zhang Xuecheng’s theory of local chronicles represented by "Zhi is the body of history ";eighth,Zhang Xuecheng’s idea of innovating the compilation method of historical books of Ji Zhuan;ninth,Zhang Xuecheng’s thought of " distinguishing Zhang academic and examining the source of mirror " and Liu Xin’s influence on Zhang Xuecheng’s academic study of Qi Xiao;tenth,Zhang Xuecheng’s philosophical view of history.In general,Zhang Xuecheng’s academic orientation is maverick in Qianjia era and does not converge with the times.His idea of learning should open up the atmosphere of the times,resulting in his cognition of the evolution and development of history and historiography showing unique characteristics.We take Si Maqian’s "Records of History" as a case study.We use small incisions to find out the big vision,make this topic know little,dig out the complex situation of Zhang Xuecheng’s historical philosophy and historical thought from small incisions,and make some useful attempts to dredge the logical relationship within Zhang Xuecheng’s academic system.
