Written at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty,Shi Lv Wu Ku is a kind of Genus-book that provides allusions and poetry examples for poetry writing.The old title of the author of Shi Lv Wu Ku is Lv Zuqian,but it has been controversial in the past dynasties.Through the analysis of the content of the book,it can be seen that this book has copied a large number of notes from Fen Men Ji Zhu Du Gongbu Shi which was published in 1195-1224,when Lv Zuqian was died.So Shi Lv Wu Ku was not compiled by Lu Zuqian.The editions of Shi Lv Wu Ku include Twenty Volumes of the Song Dynasty Block-printed Edition and Thirty Volumes of the Song Dynasty Block-printed Edition and the Manuscript of Ming Dynasty and the Manuscript of Song Dynasty Which was Photo-copied in the Song Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty Block-printed Edition named Zheng Shangzhong Taoyuan Shanzhuang and the Edition of Jinhua Series and so on.Through the analysis of the appearance and value of each version,it can be seen that the Manuscript of Ming Dynasty is different from Thirty Volumes of the Song Dynasty Block-printed Edition,it’s content is relatively complete and it can fill the missing content of Thirty Volumes of the Song Dynasty Block-printed Edition.Therefore,the future proofreading of Shi Lv Wu Ku may adopt the Edition of Jiguge as the base,with the Manuscript of Ming Dynasty and Edition of Zheng Shangzhong as the primary reference.The stylistic rules and layout of Shi Lv Wu Ku is categorized things.Each entry in the 28 categories of the book is composed of allusions and examples of poetry using allusions.Some entries are interlaced with small words.The classification standards and characteristics of Shi Lv Wu Ku have their own uniqueness that they can be divided into secondary categories and only about the folk content.It also uses the classification method of poetry collection for reference.The categories are all about interpersonal communication and daily life.The content sources of Shi Lv Wu Ku can be divided into Original Documents and Copied Documents.The Original Documents of Shi Lv Wu Ku covers a wide range of literature,including confucian classics and history and philosophy and literature.What is unique is that the book contains a large number of contents from novels and biographies and Buddhist books and Taoism books,reflecting the characteristics of erudite and uncommon(compared with the dynasties before the Song Dynasty).The main Copied Documents of Shi Lv Wu Ku are Ji Zhu Fen Lei Dong Po Xian Sheng Shi,Fen Men Ji Zhu Du Gongbu Shi,Lei Shuo,Gan Zhu Ji,Nei Jian Chi Du Bian Zhu,Jin Xiu Wan Hua Gu,etc.Among them,the most entries are copied from Ji Zhu Fen Lei Dong Po Xian Sheng Shi,with about 391 entries and accounting for half of the book.Ji Zhu Fen Lei Dong Po Xian Sheng Shi is the most popular annotated edition of Su Shi’s poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty,and its most important feature is quoting the old facts.Secondly,there are more entries in Shi Lv Wu Ku copied from Fen Men Ji Zhu Du Gongbu Shi,with more than 100 entries in total.Fen Men Ji Zhu Du Gongbu Shi is a very popular book annotated Du fu’s poems in the Southern Song Dynasty,with many annotations and Pesudo Sue note.Most of the poems quoted in Shi Lv Wu Ku are from Du Fu and Su Shi.In addition,there are Li Bai,Huang Tingjian and others,as well as some less famous poets.Poets of the Southern Song Dynasty also occupy a certain proportion.Although some poems have the wrong author in this book,there are a lot of poems and essays for the collection of the Whole Song Poetry,so Shi Lv Wu Ku has a great literature value.The allusions collected in Shi Lv Wu Ku are familiar and commonly used by the people of the Southern Song Dynasty.Tang type allusions are familiar and used by poets in Tang and previous dynasties.Song type allusions are commonly used in Song poetry,with typical Song tone allusions.There are also some fake annotation of wellknown poems of Du Fu,as well as spurious allusions which are popular at that time.In a word,the allusions collected in Shi Lv Wu Ku are familiar and commonly used by people in the Southern Song Dynasty.The emergence and characteristics of Shi Lv Wu Ku are closely related to the middle and late period of the Southern Song Dynasty.First of all,the general background of the popularization of poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty determines the characteristics of the universalness and secularization of Shi Lv Wu Ku.A large number of popular books such as genre books,poetry anthologies and notes on poets and poetry have emerged with the decline of poetry in late song dynasty and the poetry creation group expanded and the middle and lower class poetry consumption market flourished.These books have something in common.By Comparing Shi Lv Wu Ku and Qian Jia Shi Xuan and Shi Lin Guang Ji,it can be found that although they are different in nature,they have many similarities in classification and content,which indicate that they are aimed at the general intellectuals and the public,and both embody the characteristics of universalness and secularization.Secondly,the book is closely related to the poets’ daily life and communication needs in the middle and late period of the Southern Song Dynasty.Finally,taking the poetry of Dai Fugu,a representative figure in the middle and late Southern Song Dynasty,as an example,it can be seen that the allusions in Shi Lv Wu Ku are commonly used by poets in the middle and late Southern Song Dynasty.According to the research of the author,version,style,content sources,the value of quoting poetry examples,the characteristics of allusions,the background of the book,the nature of popularization of Shi Lv Wu Ku,it can help us to understand the characteristics of Shi Lv Wu Ku which are civilian and popular under the background of Southern Song Dynasty.Also it can help us to understand the relationship among poems and allusions and Genus-books.
