| One belt,one road area,is the main road of Kashi’s ancient Silk Road.Xinjiang’s "one belt and one road" core area has its important strategic position.At the third session of the central Xinjiang working conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that in order to carry out the cultural development project in depth,we should do well in Xinjiang’s work in accordance with the principles of culture,education and culture.Kashgar is a typical multi-ethnic city,in which there are 12 major ethnic groups and more than 30 ethnic minorities.Different ethnic groups and individuals have different mastery and use of the national common language.Taking Kashi ancient city as the research object,we can take Kashi ancient city as a slice of the language ecology of the minority inhabited areas,more objectively understand the language use of local residents,and provide a reference sample for the promotion and popularization of the national common language "Leading the way" to do a good job of service.The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the reasons for the topic selection,research significance,research methods,corpus sources and research status。The second chapter is the study of language landscape of Kashi ancient city,and analyzes it with the theoretical framework of "geographical Semiotics".According to the mainstream division of academic circles,language landscape is divided into official signs and private signs.The study is conducted in four aspects: code combination and selection,code orientation,placement and word engraving.It is found that the ancient city language landscape has two distinct characteristics: strong ethnic heritage and simplicity of sign language,which highlights the conservative psychology of ethnic minorities.The third chapter analyzes and explains the reasons for the formation of the language landscape of Kashi ancient city,summarizes the existing problems,and puts forward some suggestions for revision.This paper uses the theory of language life hierarchy and the theory of geospatial dimension to make a synchronic and diachronic analysis.It is found that there are three problems in the language landscape of the ancient city,namely,language errors,nonstandard conversion,less types of code use and low degree of internationalization.From the perspective of Kashgar’s long-term development,this paper proposes to improve the local people’s language literacy.The existing problems of the language landscape should be rectified as soon as possible,so as to improve the quality of the language landscape of the ancient city of Kashgar,promote the construction of a multilingual and sustainable language ecological environment,and lay a solid foundation for the economic development and social stability of Kashgar.The fourth chapter studies the information function,symbolic function and cultural carrier function of language landscape.The information function of Kashgar ancient city language landscape mainly shows the comprehensive information service ability,and the symbolic function mainly highlights the strong sense of identity of the masses and the guiding role of national policies on the language landscape.The main functions of cultural carrier are cultural education,cultural inheritance and cultural exchange. |
