| Politeness is a symbol of human civilization.Its essence is a means to promote communication and exchanges between people,and it also conforms to the essential requirements of socialist core values.The expression of politeness is a common feature of language.Through the investigation of a large number of linguistic facts,linguistic typology finds that polite language is universal in the world languages,and its core meaning is the same,but the expression method is different.This paper uses the prototype category theory and draws on the results of previous studies to sort out a large number of linguistic facts and find that polite language is mostly expressed in Chinese with respectful speech and modal particles,and it can also be expressed through the use of "a small amount of meaning".This article focuses on the translation of Chinese polite language expressions in Uyghur,and summarizes the rules of Uyghur translation,in order to enrich the research on polite language in Chinese and Uyghur.By investigating the typical members of Chinese polite language expressions,we can better understand other members of Chinese polite language expressions,and we can also better grasp the polite language expressions in other languages.From the perspective of linguistic typology,this paper examines the two expressions of polite language expressions in Chinese,including respectful speech,sentence-end modal particles,and "a small amount of meaning",and finds that Chinese polite language expressions are used in the Uyghur translation process according to specific Context,translation methods such as literal translation,substitution,extension,ellipsis,conversion,addition,and free translation can be adopted to reproduce the meaning of politeness in the source language. |
