Study On The Taoist Prayers Association In Xinjiang

Taoist prayer society is a unique religious ceremony of Taoism and a manifestation of Taoist culture.Xinjiang Taoist prayer society represented by Hongmiaozi is a traditional and classical Taoist ceremony in the Central Plains,which integrates folk beliefs in Northwest China,such as Shaanxi,Gansu and Qinghai,and modern historical and cultural factors in Northwest China.It is of great significance for us to understand the rich connotation of Xinjiang culture,to understand the role of multiculturalism in social life,and to tap the construction resources of modern culture.This paper makes a two-year field research on the prayer and prayer Law Association of Hongmiaozi Taoism in Xinjiang.By using the method of literature analysis and theoretical elaboration,it expounds the format framework and ritual procedure of the prayer and prayer Law Association of Taoism in Xinjiang,which has the characteristics of Northwest China.It also makes a deep discussion on the corresponding parts of Taoist culture.As an active adjustment to the development of social culture,the practice of Taoism of Hongmiaozi in Xinjiang is of practical significance and has produced good social impact.Even as a part of traditional folk culture,Taoism culture has played a positive role in the process of participating in the construction of modern urban culture.The first part of the introduction mainly states the current situation and significance of the research of Taoist prayer society at home and abroad.The second part introduces that the Taoist Law Society can be divided into two forms: praying for blessings and disaster relief,each of which has its own characteristics.The third part elaborates the philosophical characteristics of the formula of the law society,tracing back to the fact that Taoist prayer society originated from witchcraft but was higher than witchcraft.In the course of its operation,Taoist prayer society pays attention to its own religious characteristics and emphasizes its adaptability to the people.Every law society in the process of improvement is Taoism’s efforts to integrate itself into society,and is also the only way for Taoism to become Chinese.Socialist society adapts itself.The fourth part is about the analysis of the Daoist prayer society in Xinjiang represented by Hongmiaozi.Hongmiaozi Taoism retains the characteristics of general Taoism,but also has its own differences.Dingxiang King,who worshipped in the temple,emphasizes the military thought and advocates Wenchang Law Society,which is also Xinjiang’s pursuit of imperial examinations and culture in the mainland.Besides simplifying and reforming some law societyactivities,it is more conducive to the development of Taoism in Xinjiang,and is conducive to the spiritual consolation of the believers,so as to make Hongmiaozi Taoism.The religious function of view is strengthened rather than weakened.This is also the basis for the survival and development of Taoist culture in the multi-ethnic and multi-religious environment of Xinjiang.From the perspective of Marxist religious outlook,this conforms to the lag of religious idealism.The conclusion is that,taking the Taoist view of Hongmiaozi in Xinjiang as an example,Taoist prayer society has found a connecting point for the integration of Taoist culture and contemporary society and the adaptation of social culture through many attempts and practices,and has also provided a good example in order to get on the right track on the road of the localization of Taoism in China.
