Individuals will show high sensitivity to the corresponding stimuli during the attention process, and have the characteristics of attention bias.Individual cognitive patterns are the main factors affecting their attention bias. And under different stimulation times, the reasons for individual attention bias are different. Therefore, this study investigated the general procrastination of college students by combining the questionnaire method and the experimental method, and examined the attention bias of different types of procrastinators for specific stimuli and the causes of their attention bias at different stimulating times: a total of three section:In Study 1,the general delay scale and the active delay scale were used to investigate the delay of 406 college students, and the subjects were selected for study2 and study 3.The second study selected 32 active procrastinators and passive procrastinators. The detection paradigm examines the attentional bias of active procrastinators and passive procrastinators on specific emotional cues.Study 3 uses the clue target experimental paradigm to examine the passive procrastinators at different stimulation times(100ms attention early,500 ms attention mid-term,1250 ms attention late Under the attention of the cause of the bias(component change)and processing characteristics, the results are as follows:(1)Of the 406 valid questionnaires,100 were active procrastinators,126 were passive procrastinators, and 180 were non-delayed.Passive procrastinators scored significantly lower than the procrastinators in terms of stress preference(PP),proactive decision delay(ID),outcome satisfaction(OS),ability to complete tasks on time(AD),and total scores. There are no significant differences between the students of different grades, different majors and different genders in the active procrastination scale and the general procrastination scale;(2)active procrastination whether it is positive-neutral pairing or negative-neutral pairing,Note that there is no significant difference between bias and no-attention bias;passive-delayers have no significant difference between attention-bias and no-attention bias in positive-neutral pairing,negative-neutral pairing There is a significant difference between attention bias and no attention bias;(3)when the stimulus presentation time is 100 ms,the passive delayer’s response to negative information is significantly lower than that of neutral information under effective conditions. At the time of stimulation presentation time is 500 ms and 1250 ms,under the ineffective condition, the passive delayer’s response to negative stimuli is significantly slower than that of neutral stimuli.Combined with the above results, the paper draws the following conclusions:(1)There is a big difference between active procrastinators and passive procrastinators, and the number of passive procrastinators is mostly;(2)Active procrastinators do not show attention bias to emotional cues;passive procrastinators have biased attention to negative emotion information;(3)In the early stage of attention, the reason for passive delays to pay attention to negative emotional information is to pay attention to alertness. In the middle and late stages of attention, the reason for passive delays to pay attention to negative emotional information is to pay attention to lifting difficulties, indicating passive delays. The "alert-maintain" attention to processing characteristics.
