| With the “Classroom Revolution” put forward,“Classroom” has once again become the focus of attention.In essence,classroom is a platform for teacher-student communication and interaction.With the continuous deepening of quality education,English teachers in middle school have improved their understanding of teacher-student interaction.However,there is still a lack of substantive strategies on how to achieve real effective interaction in complex teaching practice.Therefore,it is of practical significance to explore more effective teacher-student interaction strategies.Taking a junior middle school in Tangshan as an example,this study made classroom observation and video recording of the demonstration class of three novice teachers and three skilled teachers.Then the researcher used the improved Flanders Interaction Analysis System to analyze teacher-student interaction in the classroom from four aspects,classroom emotional atmosphere,classroom organization,teaching style and classroom questioning,and compared the characteristics of teacher-student interaction between novice teachers and skilled teachers.In addition,the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey on 140 students to analyze the overall situation of teacher-student interaction,classroom questions and student’s interaction intention,so as to understand the current situation and existing problems of junior middle school English classroom interaction from the perspective of students.The results show that skilled teachers are better at using indirect influence and encouraging word to guide students actively,the emotional atmosphere in class is more harmonious,and they are better at asking open questions.Although they pay attention to the principal position of students,students in class are still in a passive position and teachers ignore the cultivation of students’ initiative.Novice teachers tend to exert direct influence by negative reinforcement,asking questions mainly based on closed questions.The classroom interaction atmosphere is not harmonious enough,and the enthusiasm of language exchange needs to be improved.But novice teachers are better at using multimedia technology,which enriches the form of classroom activities.Therefore,in order to improve the effectiveness of teacher-student interaction in junior middle school English classroom,a good teacher-student relationship should be established,a harmonious interactive atmosphere should be formed,effective questioning and feedback should be achieved,the positive role of group cooperative learning should be given full play,and multimedia should be used reasonably and appropriately. |
