| Currently,with the deepening of English teaching research in junior high school,teaching of English writing has gradually attracted the attention of language researchers and education researchers.English writing is one of the four basic language skills and a reflection of English comprehensive ability.At the same time,the improvement of English writing also promotes the improvement of English comprehensive ability.Based on that,the paper conducts research on the improvement of English writing.Based on Second Language Acquisition,Social Constructivism and Cooperative Learning,this paper proposes specific solutions and practical measures in view of the current situation and problems reflected in the teaching of English writing in order to provide effective help for English writing teaching in junior high school.This paper uses action research to explore the improvement of English writing ability based on “speaking for writing”.First,this paper summarizes Second Language Acquisition,Social Constructivism and Cooperative Learning.On this basis,research is carried out and three research questions are raised:(1)What is the status of English writing ability in junior high school?(2)What are the strategies of “speaking for writing”?(3)Can these strategies effectively improve English writing ability of junior high school?After three rounds of action research,it was found that students’ writing grades rose,vocabulary use ability improved and writing learning attitudes improved.Based on the above findings,the following enlightenment was obtained,encouraging students to talk freely can stimulate students’ thinking and enhance their enthusiasm for writing;teachers can lead students to imitate speaking dialogue to help students’ internalize language knowledge;discourse activities in groups can rich students’ writing content and inspire thinking;peer feedback can improve the layout of the text.Therefore,it is planned to adopt the above methods to realize the specific application of “speaking for writing” in the improvement of English writing ability in junior high school,and hope that through this study,it will provide effective ways to improve the English writing ability and teaching method of English writing in junior high school. |
