| Science fiction film has attracted much attention since its birth,it is one of the important types of films.Since the 1930 s,Chinese film pioneers began to create science fiction films.However,due to many constraints at that time,the creation and development of science fiction films in China were struggling and lack of success.Nowadays,with the enhancement of Chinese economic strength and the continuous development of film technology,Chinese science fiction film creation has created a new situation and made certain achievements.Science fiction films are deeply loved by the audiences for their strange imagination based on scientific principles,cool visual effects and shocking auditory experience.They also unconsciously convey to the audiences the ideology and value orientation contained in them.Science fiction movies,as a form of national cultural soft power,play a very important role in the spread of national image of China.Therefore,Chinese science fiction film how to establish the film theme,use what kind of narrative strategy and audio-visual presentation to national image construction,what are the similarities and differences in construction between different periods of science fiction film,the Chinese science fiction film how to carry on the national image construction in the future,these problems have very important research value and practical significance.This paper analyzed Chinese science fiction film,like "Ballad of the Ming Tombs Reservior","Death-Pay On the Coral Island","The Ozone Layer Vanishes","Crazy Rabbit","Wandering Earth" from the perspective of constructivism,and studied the way of Chinese science fiction film construct the national image and characteristics of the construction for the future national image of Chinese science fiction movies and spread to provide experience and reference.At the same time,in order to adapt to the international market and enhance the international communication.This paper summarize and reflect the way of Chinese science fiction movie national image construction,and then discusses the national image construction strategy of Chinese science fiction film in the international communication,in order to better “go out” for Chinese science fiction film,shaping the national image,promoting the international influence.The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the research background and significance of this paper,the research status at home and abroad,defines the related concepts involved in this paper,and indicates the research methods needed and research innovation points.The main body firstly sort out and elaborate the constructivism theory in Chapter 2,and sort out the historical origin and development of the constructivism theory,and elaborate the core proposition of the mainstream constructivism theory to be used in this paper.At the same time,it explains the internal relation between constructivism theory and national image,and summarizes the motivation of constructing national image in science fiction films.Then,in Chapter 3 of the this paper,the author takes some Chinese science fiction films as " Visiting Shanghai After Sixty Years ","Ballad of the Ming Tombs Reservior","Death-Pay On the Coral Island","The Ozone Layer Vanishes","Crazy Rabbit","Wandering Earth" as examples,analyzed these examples from the subject establishment,narrative strategies and audio-visual presents three angles respectively for the construction of national image of Chinese science fiction movies,summarized the Chinese science fiction film in the aspect of national image construction and experience,to explore Chinese science fiction films should be how to improve the image of the country,expanding the international propagation force.Finally,the Chapter 4 will study foothold on the back to the future development of Chinese science fiction movie,on how to construct the national image through Chinese science fiction film for problems,put forward in the context of globalization on the psychological construction of "shadow man",the concept of "human destiny community" docking with the common human value is reasonable,and in the pattern of world science fiction movie "tell China’s story well and make China’s voice heard " the construction of strategy.The conclusion part summarizes and sublimates the whole paper,trying to promote the creation of Chinese science fiction films and the development of the film industry by studying the strategy of constructing national image of Chinese science fiction films,so as to provide certain enlightenment for improving the international communication power of Chinese films and improving the national image.This paper fills in the gaps in the study of Chinese image construction and international communication in the field of Chinese science fiction film,and uses the interdisciplinary methods of communication,narratology,sociology and politics,as well as the methods of literature research,comparative research and case analysis to study,trying to break the limitations of a single angle in the study of national image,based on the perspective of constructivism,this paper analyzes the ways and characteristics of self-construction of the national image of Chinese science fiction films in the perspective of "noumenon".From the perspective of "the other",this paper examines the blind spots and problems existing in the self-construction of the national image of Chinese sci-fi films,and tries to put forward the self-construction strategy of the national image of China,which adapts to the international communication law,in order to provide new ideas for the development of Chinese science fiction films and the communication of Chinese national image. |
