The Artistic Features And Singing Analysis Of Hubei New Folk Songs

Since the 1990 s,the Chinese national vocal music has developed vigorously.Hubei new folk song,as a typical representative of Chinese national vocal music art,has also developed rapidly.It is outstanding in both quantity and quality in today’s vocal music works,many of which are sung throughout the country.This paper is about the artistic characteristics and singing analysis of Hubei new folk songs,and researches five newly created or adapted Hubei folk song in the author’s concert.Also discussed are the basic elements of Hubei new folk songs,such as regional culture,dialect application and song content.The artistic features of Hubei new folk songs are summarized from the characteristics of songs,rhythm and melody patterns.Finally,this paper analyzes the singing of Hubei new folk songs from the aspects of breath,resonance,moistening cavity,emotion and sound selection with the hope to explore the common characteristics of Hubei new folk songs through this study,and provide some theoretical guidance and practical reference for the practice of singing Hubei new folk songs.
