Music Analysis And Performance Research Of Gabriel Fauré’s Nocturne In B Flat Major Op.37

Gabriel Fauré(1 845-1924)is a composer with a special position in the French music genre.In China,he is not as well-known as ravel and Debussy,but this does not affect his becoming "French Schumann".Forrest has his own unique views on the creation of music works.He is loyal to his own personality and polished his works very exquisitely.Thanks to his working experience in church in his early years,most of his piano works are singing.He doesn’t like noise and mania,so his works show more delicate timbre treatment of piano,and Nocturne is the representative of delicacy and aestheticism.This paper mainly analyzes and studies the form melody,tonal harmony and rhythm characteristics of"Nocturne in B flat major" Op.37 by Forrest,and gives some opinions on performance based on my playing experience.
