A Comparative Study On The Vocabulary Of Henan Dialect Island In Jintai District Of Baoji

Baoji City is located in the west of Guanzhong,Shaanxi Province.It is an important railway intersection in China.The huayuandi breach in September 1938 and the famine in 1941-1943 caused Henan people to move out on a large scale twice,along the Longhai Railway westward to Baoji.According to textual research,there are hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing from famine,once more than the local population of Baoji,so Baoji has the title of "little Henan".Now in the urban area of Baoji,"old Baoji" refers to Henan people.These Henan people who escaped from famine built shelters along both sides of the railway and settled down in Jintai District of Baoji City,forming a dialect island of Henan Province.Taking Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji as the research object,this paper describes,analyzes and compares the dialect vocabulary of Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji by means of field survey and comparative method,investigates the usage of vocabulary in the dialect island by means of questionnaire survey,explores the changes of Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji and predicts its development trend.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction first introduces the formation history and research status of Henan dialect island,then introduces the formation and distribution of Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji City,points out the research significance and research methods of this paper,and finally enumerates the phonology of Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji City and the survey objects.The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter,based on the field investigation of Henan dialect island vocabulary in Jintai District of Baoji,compares with Putonghua vocabulary,describes the appearance of dialect island vocabulary and summarizes its characteristics.The second chapter compares Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji with Baoji dialect and Henan dialect,including word form,word meaning,word formation and pragmatics,and analyzes the influence of surrounding dialects on the vocabulary of Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji.In the third chapter,based on the data collected,the author makes a diachronic comparison of the vocabulary of the old,middle-aged and young people in Henan dialect island of Jintai District,Baoji,including the words with completely the same morpheme,partially the same morpheme and completely different morphemes,describes them and analyzes the reasons.According to the comparative study of the first two chapters,the fourth chapter explains the changes of Henan dialect island vocabulary in Jintai District of Baoji City,investigates the use of dialect island vocabulary from the method of sociolinguistics,analyzes the causes of vocabulary evolution,and makes a reasonable prediction of the development of Henan dialect island in Jintai District of Baoji City.The conclusion is a summary of the research content and conclusion.
