Abstract/Summary:
Taboo is a social and extremely complex cultural phenomenon,and at the same time it has been circulated as a cultural custom for a long time.In today’s cross-cultural communication,every nation and every country has its own taboo culture.There are many differences in taboo culture between China and Vietnam due to language,historical background,religious belief and other reasons.To a certain extent,these taboo differences hinder Vietnamese learners’ cross-cultural communication in Chinese,and even cause unnecessary cross-cultural conflicts.Therefore,starting from the taboo culture of China and Vietnam,it is of positive practical significance to further study the teaching of taboo culture for Vietnamese Chinese learners.In this paper,the related research results of taboo culture in China and Vietnam are analyzed by using the methods of literature review and induction.On the basis of recognizing the achievements and shortcomings of existing research,the similarities and differences of taboo culture in China and Vietnam and their reasons are further combed by using comparative analysis.In order to deeply understand the problems existing in taboo culture teaching for Vietnamese Chinese learners,this paper uses questionnaire survey method to carry out investigation and research in relevant universities in Vietnam,and combines the related research results.This paper makes clear the problems and reasons of taboo culture of Vietnamese Chinese learners,and finally puts forward some teaching countermeasures and analyzes their feasibility.The article mainly includes the following five parts.In the introduction,it introduces the reason of the topic selection,research significance,research summary,research contents and research methods.The first chapter,based on a comprehensive analysis of the taboo culture in China and Vietnam,summarizes the similarities and differences between China and Vietnam in terms of nonverbal taboos and linguistic taboos.The second chapter analyzes the reasons for the similarities and differences between Chinese and Vietnamese taboo cultures.In chapter three,a questionnaire survey was conducted among Vietnamese Chinese learners and Chinese teachers,and first-hand data and information were obtained,and related research was analyzed to clarify the problems in teaching taboo culture for Vietnamese Chinese learners.Chapter four,aiming at the problems of taboo culture of Vietnamese Chinese learners,puts forward some suggestions on how to carry out teaching.The conclusion part summarizes the research contents,main viewpoints and conclusions of this paper.
