With the increase of exchanges between Thailand and China,Chinese spreads rapidly in Thailand.Learning Chinese has become an almost universal phenomenon.The strategic plan for promoting Chinese teaching and improving national competitiveness in Thailand from2006 to 2010,which was formulated in 2005,links Chinese with Thailand’s national strategy and determines the importance of Chinese teaching from the national level.Thailand also puts Chinese teaching in the national strategic position,attaches importance to Chinese teaching from the top-level design,and carries out Chinese teaching activities nationwide.Chinese is the second largest foreign language in Thailand,and shows an increasing trend.All these show us that Chinese teaching research in Thailand is of great significance.Thais know little about the Dragon Boat Festival,only a few Chinese have the habit of Dragon Boat Festival,how many Thais know little about the Dragon Boat Festival,and the Dragon Boat Festival is one of the four traditional festivals in China,with rich historical heritage and cultural activities,has important cultural teaching value.This study takes the Zhengcai school in baocailan County,ratpi Prefecture,Thailand as a case study,takes the teaching of the Dragon Boat Festival as the foothold,uses the questionnaire to survey 375 students in the school,and uses interviews to conduct in-depth interviews with 6 teachers in the school,in order to explore the current situation of cultural teaching under Chinese education in Thailand,and provide information for the cultural teaching of the Dragon Boat Festival and other traditional Chinese festivals in China in the future.The research finds that there are some problems in the teaching of Dragon Boat Festival Culture in Thailand,such as the low attention paid to the culture of the Dragon Boat Festival,the lack of training for teachers,the limited teaching resources,the lack of systematic contents of the teaching materials,the lack of knowledge of the teaching content of the festival,and the single teaching methods of teachers.The teaching in the future can be improved in many ways.Firstly,we can learn the cultural knowledge of Dragon Boat Festival from cultural activities,and schools and classes should carry out colorful cultural activities of Dragon Boat Festival;Secondly,the author adjusts and adapts the teaching materials with the learners’ learning intention as the guidance,and should achieve "Four Combinations" in the compilation of the textbooks;Thirdly,we should carry out teacher training in the way of "please come in and go out",and improve teachers’ awareness of intercultural communication,so as to enrich teachers’ cultural knowledge and teaching methods;Fourthly,the interest of content promotes the learners to learn actively and carry out teaching according to the characteristics of learners.
