Gaogouli(高句丽)art has been deeply influenced by foreign cultures,especially Han and Tang cultures,during its 705 years of existence.As far as tomb mural art is concerned,there are many similarities between its style and elements and Central Plains(中原地区)culture.At the same time,in the process of continuous blending of foreign culture and local culture,painting techniques with Gaogouli characteristics have gradually evolved.As the main component of painting art,the murals in Gaogouli’s tomb are the concentrated embodiment of Gaogouli’s culture,and also reflect the important historical information of Gaogouli’s society.They are valuable materials for us to study the history and culture of Gaogouli.In this paper,the painting techniques of Gaogouli’s tomb murals are taken as the main research object,and the research methods of philology,archaeology and art are comprehensively applied.Based on literature records and image data,the painting art of Gaogouli is preliminarily discussed from all angles.The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,this thesis and conclusion.The first part is the introduction,which focuses on the purpose and significance of the topic selection,research trends at home and abroad,research scope,methods and innovations.This thesis consists of two chapters to four chapters.The second chapter is an overview of the murals in the tomb of Gaogouli.First,it combs the discovery process and distribution characteristics of Gaogouli mural tombs.Up to now,130Gaogouli mural tombs have been discovered,including 38 in China and 92 in Korea.Gaogouli mural tombs have the remarkable characteristics of being distributed according to political,economic and cultural centers.Secondly,from the image data,the main contents of the murals in the tomb of Gaogouli are classified and sorted out.The mural tombs of Gaogouli are divided into four types:figure custom map,figure custom map and four gods map,four gods map and decorative pattern.Thirdly,the stages of Gaogouli mural tombs are explained,and Gaogouli mural paintings are roughly divided into three development stages:initial stage(from the middle of 4th century to the middle of 5th century),middle stage(from the middle of 5th century to the middle of 6th century)and later stage(from the middle of 6th century to the first half of 7th century).The third chapter mainly analyzes the painting techniques of Gaogouli’s tomb murals from six elements:brushwork,model writing,composition,modeling,lines and colors.It is believed that Han and Tang paintings have influenced the creation and development of the murals in Gaogouli’s tomb to a great extent,and the murals in Gaogouli’s tomb went from imitation learning to"painting consciousness"and finally reached a certain artistic height.The fourth chapter mainly focuses on the painting techniques of the murals in Gaogouli tomb,and discusses the cultural exchanges with the surrounding areas.At its initial stage,the murals of Gaogouli tomb modeled the painting factors of the Central Plains in terms of painting composition,lines and colors,and then developed continuously,blending with local culture and gestating the painting art with its own characteristics;In terms of painting style,style and theme,it has exerted a certain influence on the painting art of Silla(新罗),Baekje(百济),Gaya(伽倻)and Japan around it.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes and promotes the contents and viewpoints of the full text.
