Types Of Mistakes In Beginners In E-C Translation And Quality Control In Proofreading

Beginners of translation often face great challenges in the work of understanding the original text,organizing the language and expressing themselves.Based on my personal experience,this report focuses on the translation of Who Are You,Really?.In the report,I analyzed the problem I have encountered and the mistakes that I have made in the translation of this book.Included in the report are the mistakes that beginners are prone to make in English-Chinese translation.By discussing with my fellow students and comparing with the modifications given by my tutor,and with the reference to the translation quality assessment model,this report tries to shed lights on the management of translation quality through comprehensive and thorough proofreading.I hope that the discussions here may provide some hints for beginners of translation.
