Research On The Image Of The Elderly In Rural Documentary

China is a large agricultural country with 5000 years of civilization,and the rural population accounts for 39.4% of the total population.The "three rural issues" with "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" as the core are related to national quality,economic development,social stability and national prosperity.Rural areas occupy an important position in the country.Documentaries have important documentary properties and practical value,but the development of rural documentaries in China is slow,and the main themes of the documentaries are mainly food and rural romance,rarely the real life of rural areas and the real image of farmers.At the same time,there is a lack of theoretical support in the academic research of rural documentary in China.Therefore,China should strengthen the development of rural documentary and its theoretical research.As one of the documents of the research on the image of the characters in rural documentary,this paper summarizes three kinds of elderly images in rural Documentary: inheriting the traditional image of the elderly,old entertainment image of the elderly and making rural food image of the elderly.At the same time,from the living state of the elderly,this paper discusses the "significance" of the image of the rural elderly in the documentary.Even the same group of elderly people,in the screen will have a different image of the elderly,so it has different film and television significance.Viewers can interpret the meaning behind the image of the elderly through the documentary,and get realistic thinking,so as to pave the way for us to understand the rural elderly and solve the practical problems faced by the rural elderly.The personal documentary work "Diary of Dawan",which is related to the research issues of this paper,is a rural documentary which borrows the theory of direct photography and uses the most direct,simplest and original shooting method to record the daily life of the elderly in Lijia Dawan in the camera and present it in the documentary.This is a real country documentary,and also a life video diary.This way of shooting not only restores the daily life of the elderly in Lijiawan to the greatest extent,but also brings people more realistic thinking,and provides image reference for solving the problems of rural areas and farmers in China.
