Pierre Bonnard is one of the main representatives of Les Nabis at the end of the19 th century.His painting developed from the beginning of Western Art from tradition to modern times and the rise and fall of various artistic ideological trends.The Oriental Art had a very important influence on bonnard’s painting path.Bonnar,known as "Nabis of Japan",absorbed and learn from the freehand brushwork and abstractness of Oriental painting in the painting road,broke through the traditional painting expression,used flat painted blocks of color,smooth lines and plane composition to draw the ever-changing sceneries of nature into the picture,blended Oriental Art and Western Art,creating and expressing objects through the spirit,with the intention of pursuing an emotional transmission and aesthetic enjoyment.Whether it is for the creator or the viewer,it creates a warm,quiet,poetic and artistic realm of art and spirituality of its own.The first chapter of this article mainly analyzes the background of the formation of Oriental elements in Bonnard’s paintings through the macro-organization of the process of oriental art spreading in the West,and the micro-analysis of Bonnard’s social environment and the development path of his personal growth,Bonnard’s path of painting with Oriental Art.The second chapter mainly interprets the expression of Oriental elements in Bonnard’s paintings,the use of decorative Oriental patterns,the two-dimensional planar Oriental composition that is different from the traditional perspective of the West,and the expression of the unified of poetry and painting that contains Oriental meaning.The content of the third chapter is the research and analysis of the Oriental elements in Bonnard’s paintings.It discusses the inspiration from the conception to the practice in the process of artistic creation from two levels: the conception of the subject and content,and the exploration of the painting language.Bonnard’s art creation have promoted the exchange and dialogue between Eastern and Oriental art to a certain extent,prompting us to more firmly absorb and explore excellent artistic concepts and national cultures,and select the essence of them,thus forming our own unique painting concept.And the unique understanding of things lays the foundation for the formation of creative appearance. |
