| Speech acts are ubiquitous in people’s daily communication,and request speech acts,as one of the most frequently used types,are the top priority of many scholars.In the field of Chinese as a foreign language,it is also of great research value to study request speech acts.But Chinese language learners are often unable to output polite,decent and well-expressed request speech acts due to lack of comprehensive mastery.The reasons are related not only to learners themselves,but also to teachers’ teaching,and also to the arrangement of teaching materials.Textbooks play pivotal role as the first-hand materials for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning,and the arrangement of speech acts in textbooks will also directly affect the quality of learners’ request speech acts.Therefore,this paper chooses oral teaching materials which are representative in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language as the research object,On the basis of absorbing the theoretical achievements of previous scholars,this paper exhaustively sorts out the corpus of request speech acts in teaching materials,makes detailed statistical analysis and summarizes its advantages and disadvantages,and then gives relevant suggestions.This paper is mainly composed of the following aspects:The first part is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the reasons for the selection of the thesis,the research significance,the research contents,the research methods and the related theoretical review.The review part is composed of foreign research and domestic research.The second part mainly describes the definition,judgment conditions,structure,request strategy and sequence of request speech act in Chinese.In the part of request speech acts in oral Chinese as a foreign language,this paper focuses on the research focus of request speech acts in the field of Chinese as a foreign language at present,and the importance of studying request speech acts.Finally,it is clear that oral Chinese teaching materials play an important role in the acquisition of request speech acts.The third part is the main part of this paper,this part makes detailed statistics and analysis of request speech acts in the six volumes of the spoken language series of Developing Chinese(Second Edition),and makes quantitative statistics,volume statistics and type statistics of the address terms,the supportive moves,the requests strategy.At the same time,it also sums up the scenes of request speech acts in the textbook,and puts specific corpus into the scenes for comparison to discover its similarities and particularities.In addition,it summarizes the types and quantities of request speech acts in the exercises after the text and analyzes them.The fourth part summarizes advantages and disadvantages on the basis of the statistics of the third part.It is found that there are merits in the overall arrangement of teaching materials,the arrangement of request speech acts and the arrangement of exercises.At the same time,according to the statistical conclusion,it summarizes its shortcomings in character role setting,request speech acts arrangement,textbook language compilation and so on.The fifth part puts forward suggestions on the basis of the shortcomings found in the fourth part,including the use of teaching materials,the teaching of request speech acts in teaching materials and the teaching of exercise questions.Chinese teachers for foreign students also should enhance their own knowledge and skills,change traditional teaching methods and guide learners to use in practice. |
