Research On Confidence In Revolutionary Culture

After the 18th CPC National Congress put forward the "three confidence",namely confidence in the path,theory and system,General Secretary Xi promoted cultural confidence as the "fourth confidence" in his speech at the conference celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.In General Secretary Xi’s elaboration on the connotation of cultural confidence,cultural confidence inherently includes the excellent traditional Chinese cultural confidence bred by the Chinese nation ’ s more than 5,000 years of civilization,the revolutionary cultural confidence bred by the great struggles of the party and the people in modern China,the advanced socialist cultural confidence in the new era.The revolutionary cultural confidence proposed in this paper refers to the confidence of the outstanding cultural achievements of the Chinese people,which was born in the period of the new democratic revolution under the guidance of Marxism and was further developed in the period of reform and construction under the guidance of the Communist Party of China.Confidence in revolutionary culture lies in the middle of confidence in excellent traditional Chinese culture and confidence in advanced socialist culture,which plays a role of connecting the preceding and the following.therefore,it is necessary to carry forward the confidence of revolution and strengthen the country.starting from the connotation source of revolutionary cultural confidence,this paper firstly sorts out the historical generation logic of the birth,maturity and new development of revolutionary cultural confidence in the period of new democratic revolution,socialism construction and reform and opening up.Secondly,it deeply analyzes the challenges to the confidence of revolutionary culture in the new era and explains why the revolutionary culture is not confident.Finally,it demonstrates how to strengthen the confidence of revolutionary culture in the new era.The disintegration of the Soviet Union and the historical upheaval in Eastern Europe have taught us that in order to prevent subversive mistakes in the thinking of our party and state,we must strengthen our confidence in revolutionary culture,which is also the spiritual driving force for us to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.After the reform and opening up,with the shift of the focus of the work of the party and the state,the society has also entered the transition period,and the confidence of revolutionary culture has suffered from the double impact of wrong thoughts at home and abroad.Both the negative effects of the domestic market economy and the penetration of foreign western ideology have challenged us in many ways to strengthen our confidence in revolutionary culture.Therefore,we must start from the construction of revolutionary cultural confidence itself,under the guidance of Marxism,strengthen the discourse power of all aspects of revolutionary cultural confidence,and actively guide the development of revolutionary cultural industry,which is an important strategy to enhance revolutionary cultural confidence in the new era.
