Research On The Urn Burial In ZhengLuo Area In Yangshao Period

Urn coffin burial is a burial custom that was popular in the Yangshao period,and the Zhengluo area is the central area of this burial custom.This paper divides the Zhengluo area into three areas: Zhengzhou plain area,Yiluo drainage area,and Yingru drainage area based on the river basin and other geographical features.The analysis of the site summarized the diachronic changes and characteristics of the urn coffin burial in Zhengluo area.At the same time,this article also discusses related issues such as the origin of urn coffin burial.The thesis consists of four parts:The first part is introduction.It clarifies the time and space scope of the research object in this article.The current academic research on the problem of urn coffin burial is sorted out,and the related academic achievements are analyzed and reviewed.Point out the research ideas and research value of this article.The second part is the archeological cultural sequence of the Yangshao period in Zhengluo area.Introduces the existing related academic achievements,and selects the current more comprehensive one,divides the archaeological culture of the Yangshao period into four phases and seven segments,and introduces the archeological cultural features of different phases.The third part is an overview of the urn coffin burial in Zhengluo area.On the basis of the previous article,we analyzed and sorted out the ages of the urn coffins found in the three geographic sub-regions.It is pointed out that the objects used as urn coffins in different regions have different biases.The Zhengzhou plain area tends to use Dinghe cans,the Yiluo Basin area tends to use sharp-bottomed bottles,and the Yingru Basin area tends to use flat-bottomed aquariums with a bird’s beak.The number of urn coffins reached its peak in the late stage I,and then fell into decline.On the basis of the above research,it is pointed out that there are two parts of the main burial device and the non-subject burial device used in the urn coffin burial device,and the typological research on the main burial device such as tripods,jars,and sharp-bottomed urns.It is clear that the jar was used as a burial vessel the earliest,and the other burial vessels appeared close in time.The sharp-bottomed bottle disappeared the earliest,or turned into a sharp-bottomed urn.At the same time,starting with the combination form,distribution,burial situation of the urn coffin,age and burial style of the deceased,and burial objects,it introduces and analyzes the general situation and diachronic changes of the urn coffin burial.It also analyzes the origin of the urn coffin burial in the area,the relationship with the second burial and other related burial customs,as well as the social structure and spiritual connotation it reflects.The fourth part is the conclusion.In a nutshell,this article points out the changes in urn coffin burials that have been affected by geography and age;analyzes that the adult urn coffin burial in this area is a confluence of the second burial custom when the urn coffin burial reached its peak.Later,it disappeared with the decline of the urn coffin itself;the social structure and multiple spiritual connotations reflected in the urn coffin were discussed.
