| Internet moral behavior refers to the behavior that is restricted and standardized by the public opinion, moral character and moral behavior habit of the main body of internet virtual society, and can be evaluated by the standard of good and evil, which takes place in cyberspace. With the development of the internet, the internet has become an indispensable part of people’s life, and the internet morality deserves attention. This study focuses on two different kinds of internet moral behaviors:internet altruistic behavior and internet moral anomie behavior, and takes undergraduates and graduate students of a university as subjects to explore the factors and mechanisms of internet altruistic behavior and internet moral anomie behavior in the internet environment. To explore the mechanism of the effect of belief in a just world on internet moral behavior,704 college students were investigated with Belief in a Just World Scale(BJW),Moral Identity Measure(MIM),Perceived Anonymity Scale and the Internet Altruistic Behavior Scale of Undergraduates(IABSU).The results showed that :(1)Belief in a just world was positively correlated with internet altruistic behavior, and positively predicted internet altruistic behavior(β=0.28,t=7.58,p<0.001);(2)Moral self-identity played a partial mediating role in the relationship between belief in a just world and internet altruistic behavior;(3)Internet anonymity moderated the mediating model of belief in a just world, moral self-identity and internet altruistic behavior. To explore the mechanism of the effect of belief in a just world on internet moral anomie behavior,4593 college students were investigated with Belief in a Just World Scale(BJW),Network Moral Judgment Scale for College Students,Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),and Network Anomie Behavior Scale for College Students(NABSCS).The results showed that :(1)Belief in a just world was negatively correlated with internet moral anomie behavior, and negatively predicted internet moral anomie behavior(β=-0.10,t=-5.27,p<0.001);(2)Internet moral judgment played a partial mediating role in the relationship between belief in a just world and internet moral anomie behavior;(3)Perceived social support moderated the mediating model of belief in a just world, internet moral judgment and internet moral anomie behavior. This study draws the following conclusions:(1)Belief in a just world can not only directly predict internet altruistic behavior, but also indirectly predict internet altruistic behavior through the mediating role of moral self-identity;Internet anonymity moderates the mediating model of belief in a just world, moral self-identity and internet altruistic behavior.Under the condition of high anonymity, moral self-identity has a significant positive prediction on internet altruistic behavior.(2)Belief in a just world can not only directly predict internet moral anomie behavior, but also indirectly predict internet altruistic behavior through the mediating role of internet moral judgment;Perceived social support moderates the mediating model of belief in a just world, internet moral judgment and internet moral anomie behavior. When individuals can perceive high level of social support, belief in a just world can more effectively affect internet moral judgment; In addition, when individuals can perceive high level of social support, belief in a just world can significantly negatively predict the internet moral anomie behavior.Otherwise, the prediction effect is not significant. |
