Thailand has become one of the countries with the largest number of learners of Chinese at present.Due to the differences in geographical environment,history,culture and education policies,there are many differences in educational concepts between China and Thailand,which are reflected in the process of Chinese teaching.Research on the differences in educational concepts between China and Thailand,It has important practical in promoting Chinese teaching in Thailand.The differences in educational concepts between the two countries are mainly reflected in four aspects.In terms of educational objectives,China attaches great importance to quality-oriented education,Thailand is influences by religious culture and monarchy,attaches great importance to civic educationa,and pay attention to self-development.In terms of curriculum,China has unified syllabus,showing unity and consistency in teaching.Thailand emphasizes independent education,where school can choose textbooks independently and have various types of courses,the teaching syllabus presents uniformity and continuity.In terms of teaching methods,Chinese school takes the developmet of students’ intelligence as the starting point,pays attention to the knowledge system,Thai classroom focuses on heuristic teaching,pays attention to the cultivation of students’ creativity.In terms of evaluation methods,China emphasizes the evaluation of students’ development quality,but focuses on examination results and takes examination as the stardard for talent selection.Thailand is relatively diverse,focusing on the comprehensive ability to test,do not overemphasize the importance of the exam.In view of the differences in educational concepts between China and Thailand,caused a series of problem,such as,students lack of motivation,curriculum is not coherent,low levels of students engagement and weak individual subject abilities,schools should improve curriculum and standardize Chinese teaching;teachers should adjust teaching methods and emphasize classroom displine,students should cultivate learning habits and improve learning motivation.From the perspective of educational concepts is an effective way to understand Thai educatioal concepts and cultural teaditions,it is good for teachers to improve their own quality and teaching skills,so as to achieve effective teaching.
