Research On National Education In Wenchuan County During The Total Anti-Japanese War(1940-1945)

During the all-out War of Resistance Against Japan,the Chinese nation united in times of crisis due to the need of founding the country during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,and the national feelings gathered together.A national education system with the new county system of "theocracy" and "the integration of children’s education and adult education" came into being.This is a special system of Chinese national education in wartime.Since the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,the Nationalist Government has made every effort to build Sichuan into the rear area of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,and the national education system is one of the important measures it has pushed.Wenchuan County,located in the northwest of Sichuan,is no exception.Wenchuan county is a minority area,and many difficulties have been encountered in the implementation of national education.Under the unique social situation of ethnic blending,unique characteristics of national education in the border areas have been formed.In addition,in the implementation process due to the government’s determination is not enough,the lack of education funds,the number of teachers and students,the low quality of the guidance staff,the implementation of the actual effect is far from the plan.Nevertheless,national education is of great significance to the promotion of education in Wenchuan County.The experience and lessons can be used for reference to the solution of local problems and social development.The period1940-1945 was the first five-year period of the National Education Plan,which was also implemented during the period of the Total Anti-Japanese War.Under the Ministry of Education and the provincial government promulgated a series of policy guidance,wenchuan county,the government adopted in teachers’ pay,self-raised funds,strengthening the supervision and forced entry,combined with their own situation,to promote the development of the national education,with the increase of the number of the students at school,the school facilities and the construction of teaching equipment has made remarkable achievements,which though and the national government to achieve the ideal effect,there is still a big gap between the wenchuan county,the special natural environment and humane environment and the limitations of the national education system itself has weakened the implementation effect of the national education,national education in the implementation of wenchuan county,It still has an important and positive influence on the improvement of the production and life style of the local border people,the development of education,the communication and integration of ethnic groups and the cultivation of national and ethnic consciousness.
