Jean Baudrillard is the most important philosopher in the contemporary West.Later modern theories,especially the theory of consumer society and the theory of mimicry,have had a great influence in the field of contemporary western thought.In addition to being a philosopher,he is also a photographer with unique views and views on photography.His photographic works convey his feelings of the world as a philosopher with rich and novel perspectives and treacherous colors.For Baudrillard,photography is not only for the need to watch,but also a way to understand the world.Unlike other researchers who look at photographic behavior from the standpoint of subject,Baudrillard regards photography as a kind of "vanishing" art,advocates a kind of "zero degree" type shooting," zero degree " concrete performance in the technique,subject,object " disappearance ",requires as the subject of the photographer absent,let the absolute subject retreat,from the object of photography to understand the essence of photography.Therefore,this paper calls its photography concept "zero degree photography ",and probes into the concrete connotation and aesthetic experience of the concept of " zero degree photography " from the perspective of aesthetics and philosophy.In order to further enrich the post-modern photography theory and visual culture research.The full text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter analyzes the ideological origin behind Baudrillard’s photography concept from two different angles.The first is to explore the relationship between Baudrillard’s own philosophical thought and his own philosophical thought,and try to analyze the influence and connection of his philosophical thought on photography concept and concrete photography practice.Baudrillard’s photography concept is placed in his understanding of the end of art and his own philosophy to understand the relationship between his photography concept and his own philosophy.The second is to sort out the influence of Benjamin and Roland Barthes’ photography concept on Baudrillard’s photography concept,and then try to find out the connection and difference with Baudrillard’s photography concept.The second chapter mainly studies the connotation of Baudrillard’s zero-degree photography.Baudrillard called photography a kind of "vanishing art ".Therefore,from the three aspects of the disappearance of techniques,the disappearance of subjects and the disappearance of objects,Baudrillard grasp the " zero degree " characteristics of his photography concept more directly.The third chapter analyzes the aesthetic experience in Baudrillard’s Zero degree Photography.This paper analyzes the pure beauty of the aesthetic object and how the aesthetic subject realizes reconfirmation from the two aspects of the aesthetic object and the aesthetic subject,and then sums up the aesthetic characteristics of the aesthetic object of its photography as contingency and purity.The fourth chapter is to analyze the significance of Baudrillard’s zero-degree photography.The first is to ask and reflect on what photography is,the second is to reflect on art,to reflect on the possibility of art in post-modern society,and to put forward the ways of artistic temptation.Finally,a general evaluation and reflection on Baudrillard’s concept of photography.
