Karol Szymanowski composed musical works in a wide range of genres during his life.Among them,his Preludes were the first piano works he composed in his early days,which laid a sound foundation for his subsequent musical compositions.In this paper,three of Szymanowski’s nine Preludes for piano-the first,the second and the fifth-are selected for detailed study since they are the minor works of the nine Preludes that contain most of the techniques of the other six works.This paper is divided into three chapters.In the first chapter,his musical composition is introduced.In the second chapter,the main compositional techniques and the processing of speed,strength and rhythm from the perspective of macroscopic structure,and summarizes the musical characteristics of these three Preludes.In the third chapter,through the combination of my own performance of the three preludes of the performances analysis,pedal application and teaching application of teaching analysis.It is attempted to bring some reference value and help to the pedagogical study of Szymanowski’s piano Preludes and to expand the scope of people’s research on the genre of preludes.
