"Canal Ballad" is the first original national opera launched by the National Centre for the Performing Arts.Its success can be described as a bold breakthrough and innovation in the history of national opera.Among them,the heroine Shui Honglian sang "Love You in the Afterlife" This aria has subsequently become a must-sing song for sopranos in the field of national singing.This thesis analyzes and researches this famous aria.It analyzes the music style,character image,music characteristics,lyrics,singing skills,etc.,and summarizes the emotional processing of this work in singing.And combined with their own singing practice experience,the singer can accurately express the rich connotation of the work on the basis of understanding his creative background and plot outline,providing a theoretical basis for vocal singers,vocal music teachers and researchers.
