| In 1910,the government of the late Qing Dynasty held a grand exposition named Nanking-Unyre an l’exposition National 1910,which was the first time for China to hold a large-scale national exposition in an official capacity.It setted a precedent for China’s exposition business.The exposition attracted attention from all levels of the local government,and high-quality ceramics from all regions were gathered together at that time.In a sense,this exposition had become a rare feast of national ceramic products.The article first introduces the background of Nanking-Unyre an l’exposition National1910 which is an official exposition held by late qing dynasty and the history of our country ceramics’ exhibition experience before attending this expo.On this basis,the article mainly focus on the ceramic relevant parts.This paper sorts out some materials of the exhibition of ceramic products and the award-winning situation of exhibitors in the exhibition hall of Nanking-Unyre an l’exposition National 1910,so as to understand the development and distribution of ceramic industry in various regions in the late Qing Dynasty.And through the summary and analysis of all kinds of reports,research,evaluation and other contents of ceramic products of the exposition,it explores the different opinions and attitudes of the late Qing society towards local ceramics.This paper takes the Nanking-Unyre an l’exposition National 1910 as the starting point,which is not only a comprehensive review of the historical materials related to the exposition and the ceramic industry in the late Qing Dynasty,but also a preliminary study of how the Qing government affected the development of China’s ceramic industry after the implementation of commercial policy.This paper introduces the ceramic exhibition,awards and evaluation of Nanking-Unyre an l’exposition National 1910,trying to show and restore the overall situation of the ceramic exhibition of this exposition.On this basis,it further explores the role of this exposition in the publicity,improvement and award evaluation of the ceramic exhibitors at that time,the inspiration to the collection and display methods of the ceramic exhibition,and the significance of cross-regional communication and modernization of the ceramic industry in the late Qing Dynasty. |
