Music Analysis And Singing Exploration Of Debussy’s Vocal Suite "Ariettes Oubliees"

This paper starts from the background of the composition of the suite "Ariettes Oubliées",including Debussy and his artistic songs,as well as a brief introduction to his divertimento works.The second chapter analyzes six songs separately and summarizes the Impressionist music creation methods used in the set.The third chapter is to explore six songs from four aspects: the analysis of the key points of French pronunciation,emotional expression,details of singing,and reference of the singer’s version.It is hoped that through music analysis,the structure,content and Impressionism style of the work can be better defined,and theoretical knowledge and basis for performing the vocal suite will be provided.Through the exploration of singing,the singing practice examples of the work can be provided for vocal music learners.In the process of the thesis research,the author uses the literature collection methods such as follow-up method and retrospective method to consult the relevant paper literature,audio and other materials;In order to get the music understanding and interpretation in the most intuitive way,the dynamic data analysis of different singers’ singing versions is carried out.
