Research On Zhou Rui’s Children’s Fantasy Novels

This paper takes the fantasy of Zhou Rui’s children’s novels as the research object.Zhou Rui introduces traditional elements into his novels,which arouses scholars’ attention and Research on how to integrate traditional elements into literary creation.Inspired by Lu Xun’s new stories,he provided a good idea for the creation of Chinese children’s literature with a new way of creation.At present,the academic research on Zhou Rui’s works mainly focuses on realistic works,while fantasy works are often ignored.In fact,fantasy novels occupy an important position in Zhou Rui’s works.Through the study of fantasy in Zhou Rui’s novels,we can explore the advantages and limitations of Zhou Rui’s creation,understand the reasons for the formation of the advantages and limitations,and how to reflect fantasy,so as to provide useful enlightenment for the further development of fantasy literature.The first chapter of this paper discusses the transformation of Zhou Rui’s novels,analyzes the basic characteristics of the three stages of Zhou Rui’s creation,and what is the motivation of his creation of children’s fantasy novels;The second chapter lists several fantasy modes and plot settings of Zhou Rui’s children’s literature works,and summarizes the two forms of magic in the works,the inheritance and original creation of magic imagination in myths and legends,and the hero’s attitude towards magic,and explains how Zhou Rui integrates fantasy elements into his works with specific cases;The third chapter analyzes the artistic conception of Zhou Rui’s children’s fantasy novels,summarizes the aesthetic characteristics of Zhou Rui’s children’s fantasy novels,analyzes how Zhou Rui inherits the tradition and brings forth the new in the process of creation,and analyzes how the writer "plays hide and seek" with the readers through the specific plots in the novels;The fourth chapter analyzes the inspiration of Zhou Rui’s fantasy novels to children’s literature,analyzes the differences between Zhou Rui’s children’s fantasy novels and other writers,and also emphasizes Zhou Rui’s creative limitations,such as the obvious tendency of binary opposition,the similar themes of many stories,etc.Zhou Rui draws nutrients from traditional culture and creates fantasy novels on the basis of giving full play to his imagination,which is conducive to the development of children’s literature genre and cultural diversity.Innovation is the inexhaustible power of a nation and a country.The development of a nation and a country cannot do without innovation,which comes from imagination.As a literary reading material to cultivate teenagers’ imagination,fantasy literature can promote the cultivation of creative thinking,stimulate creativity,and promote the long-term development of society,which should be fully valued by all sectors of society.
