As a representative of modern puppetry in Jiangsu province,shoulder pole puppet show is mainly spread in the town of Xiejia,in Gaoyou,Jiangsu Province.It is a folk opera art formed by integrating nonlocal art into local culture and combining local characteristics.It has a long history,and the plays performed are handed down orally from generation to generation.It is distinguished from other traditional opera arts by one person acting in all fields.It is a shining pearl in the provincial intangible cultural heritage of Jiangsu Province.Based on the Xiejia shoulder pole puppet show as the research object,use the Ethnomusicology theories as the main research perspective,and step into the field visit on own,to argue and analyze its historical origin,music culture,inheritance patterns and cultural change and other aspects,in order to know this traditional opera completely,contributing inappreciably for the development of this traditional opera.The paper is divided into five chapters.The introduction part mostly includes the reason of the topic,research method,research purpose,research significance,literature review about shoulder puppet show and evaluate the research status.The first chapter is consist of three sections:historical origin,living environment and artistic procedure.It mainly collates the history and evolution of the shoulder pole puppet show,examines its origin,and sorts out its artistic procedure from the aspects of puppet types and professional roles and so on.The second chapter takes the elements of its music culture as the exploration purpose,summarizing and analyzing the four sections about singing music,accompaning music,script,dialect and performance.The third chapter mainly discusses the performance as the entry point,their learning style and process,as well as the inheritors’ innovation of this art in social changes,and discusses the realization of group cohesion and the recognition of the inheritor’s identity through certain cognitive methods.The fourth chapter takes the current cultural changes of the shoulder pole puppet show as a vision,expands its cultural features from the connotation of the local culture in which it lives,explains its functional changes,and finally analyzes the reasons for its cultural changes.The fifth chapter interprets the current status of its inheritance,and puts forward the my personal thinking and relevant opinions. |
