Research On Graphic Design Of Calligraphy Font

Jiudiezhuan is a kind of seal art,which belongs to a special category of calligraphy.It is a kind of decorative writing.Its writing function has changed after font deformation,which shows the functional and artistic characteristics of Chinese characters.It is the existence of a kind of cultural and visual symbol.Through the ancients’ graphic treatment of font,the text is endowed with cultural connotation,ritual concept and aesthetic characteristics,which is the external embodiment of cultural psychology and social value.The wisdom,imagination and emotion contained in it play a guiding role in today’s font graphic design.Jiudiezhuan is a kind of character designed in square according to ancient people’s philosophy and thinking mode,which is a precedent for the graphic design of font in ancient times.It turns words into the symbol of ideas and returns to the visual symbol of Chinese characters.Make full use of the symbolic meaning and artistic aesthetic characteristics of Jiudiezhuan,according to the design theme,aesthetic standards and design needs,this special calligraphy font will be integrated into the modem font design,to meet the accurate transmission of information and the audience’s requirements for information and emotion,enrich the design forms,expand the application scope of Jiudiezhuan,and spread the traditional Chinese culture.In this paper,through literature collection,demonstration by examples,comparative analysis and practical creation method,Jiudiezhuan is analyzed and applied again.Through the analysis of the morphological characteristics and cultural connotation of Jiudiezhuan,the basic structure and creative direction of graphics are paved.The ancient graphic cases are used for demonstration and comparative analysis with their forms.Finally,the practical part is deduced Design case.The research process is as follows:(1)By studying the origin and development of Jiudiezhuan,as a special calligraphy font,this paper analyzes the hidden symbol of characters according to the hierarchy concept and social and cultural value.Finally,it is concluded that Jiudiezhuan is based on Xiaozhuan,which is developed from Miao Zhuan.In order to adapt to the increase of seal surface,after adjusting the deformation of seal text,the strokes twists and turns.The whole is mysterious,solemn and square,which is the symbol of imperial power and trust.(2)Through the plane composition analysis of characters and the graphical features of ancient decorative characters,the paper analyzes the morphological language symbols of characters,finds out the personality characteristics of Jiudiezhuan,which can be used as a form and theoretical reference for the integration with modern fonts and graphic design.Finally,it is concluded that the text is the of all natural things,which is a visual form composed of point and line.With the development of font,the composition of strokes is arranged according to the law of beauty,forming five types of calligraphy.Each type of calligraphy has the graphic beauty of lines and forms.The decorative characters of ancient times have the graphical characteristics,which is the crystallization of ancient people’s aesthetic.The formal beauty contained in it is of reference significance for the graphic design of Jiudiezhuan.Compared with the decorative characters,the Jiudiezhuan provide reference for the creation direction of strokes and knot.(3)In the theoretical analysis of graphic design,the design principle is mainly concise,creative and coordinated.In the design method,the ancient six books are imitated to create characters(pictograph,instruction and understanding),and combined with modern design methods,and the visual symbols formed by the new point and line surface are formed based on the characteristics of image,symbol and narrative.(4)In the modern design,Jiudiezhuan should be used to integrate with barcode in common,and realize the integration of technology and art.The combination of simplified characters and nine fold seal characters is realized on the poster.The application scope of the nine fold seal seal is expanded by the three-dimensional bookshelves.The paper mainly solves the single use environment of Jiudiezhuan.From the aspects of composition elements,social environment,cultural background and expression form,the traditional philosophy and modern design theory are integrated,the Jiudiezhuan and modern simplified characters are integrated,and the scope of use of Jiudiezhuan is expanded.In conclusion,the research results provide more possibilities for information transmission,emotional expression and artistic deduction.
