| With the accelerating speed of globalization and the rapid development of China’s economy,learning Chinese has become a boom in many countries.The number of international students has also been increasing in recent years in China.Therefore,the problem of cross-cultural adaptation has caused many countries and regions.Many experts and scholars have done related researches,but the research on cross-cultural adaptation of Afghan students in China is relatively weak.Since the establishment of the Confucius Institute between Kabul University and Taiyuan University of Technology in 2008,a certain number of Afghan international students have been sent to this university to study Chinese language every year.Due to the religious beliefs,language,culture,life customs,and way of thinking,There are huge differences in such aspects.The Afghan international students at Taiyuan University of Technology face many difficulties in cross-cultural adaptation.Therefore,this article takes the Afghan international students of Taiyuan University of Technology as the research object,and investigates the social life adaptation,learning adaptation,learning motivation,psychological adaptation,etc.,through questionnaires and interviews to understand the cross-cultural adaptation problems of Afghan nternational students,and try to base on the research The results put forward strategic recommendations.This article mainly adopts three research methods:literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.Through the above three research methods,collecting data,analyzing and combing the statistics obtained,in-depth discussion of the overall situation of the cross-cultural adaptation of Afghan students in Taiyuan University of Technology.This article is composed of four parts:The first part is the introduction,including the purpose and significance of the research,research methods,and research overview;the second part is the design and implementation of the investigation and research on the cross cultural adaptation of the Afghan overseas students in China;the third part is the research and study on the cross-cultural adaptation of the Afghan students in China.The analysis of the cross-cultural adaptation of international students,including questionnaire analysis and interview analysis;the fourth part is the suggestion,including the suggestion to Taiyuan University of Technology and the advice to the Afghan international students;the fifth part is the conclusion. |
