At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty,the power centralization was declining day by day,the government was corrupt,the annexation of land was intensified,and the society was in turmoil.There has been a tide of calls for rectifying social customs and reversing decadent customs.Therefore,Ying Shao wrote Feng Su Tong Yi.The book recorded a large number of folk customs and hearsay,more systematically reflects the social customs of the Han Dynasty.It is the study of etiquette system,be treated as important social and cultural historical materials.Among them,geography had be classified as Shan Ze Pian,in which 14 geographical entities had be selected for geographical writing.The purpose of the study is to probe into the geographical writing in Feng Su Tong Yi,which take Shan Ze Pian as the main body,to sort out the geographical and historical background of its text,and to explain the text of Shan Ze Pian,this paper analyzes its features and the reasons for the formation of geographical writing.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly combs the background of the text,from time style,the perspective of geography,and Ying’s family studies traditions.In chapter two,the text is explained in the form of tables,and the specific geographical features are selected and arranged as a whole,according to the structure of mountains and waters.By citing classics and Exegesis,the text clearly define the subject of geography and its cultural value,in addition to the documentary geography writing,the feature of the conceptual geography writing is outstanding.The third chapter analyzes the cause of formation of Ying Shao’s geography writing.Ying Shao’s geographical writing responded to his writing goal of "distinguishing the style and correcting the custom" and was an important link to support his view of custom.The geographical writing formed a positive and negative contrast with the custom criticism,the author uses the five mountains and four rivers structures to strengthen the idea of ruling dynasty,emphasizes the virtue of geography by the deeds of sages and celebrities,and insists on the central dynasty perspective of centripetal writing.The fourth chapter compares the geographical writing of Ying Shao and Han Shu Di Li Zhi.As a symbol of the maturity of dynastic geography writing,Han Shu Di Li Zhi influenced the dynastic concept of Ying Shao’s geographical writing,the two kinds of geographical writing served different customs views and aims.The writing of geography after Ying Shao divided into two paths:Geography and Literature.At last,it concludes that we should regard Yin’s geography writing as the wing of the discussion of Customs,and regard it as the cut-in point of distinguishing and correcting customs.
