The subject-predicate sentence is the sentence in which the subject-predicate phrase is used as the predicate. This sentence pattern can be written as "big subject + small subject +small predicate".There are two subjects in this sentence pattern, one is the subject of the whole sentence, called the major subject;the other is the subject in the subject-predicate phrase, called the minor subject. When the big and small subjects are the agent or recipient of the predicate, two semantic relations are formed. When the big subject is the recipient and the small subject is the acting, the semantic relationship of the whole sentence is "big subject(receive)+ small subject(agent)+ small predicate";when the big subject is acting and the small subject is acting,The semantic relationship of the whole sentence is "large subject(agent)+ small subject(receive)+ small predicate".This paper uses the modern literary novels with strong oral language as the corpus, statistically summarizes these two subject-predicate sentences and analyzes the differences between them in the static and dynamic contexts, and further explores the grammatical ontology and pragmatic value. The specific content is as follows:The first chapter analyzes the syntax, semantics and pragmatics of the "receive+agent +verb" sentence structure. In terms of syntactic analysis, the major and minor subjects in the sentence pattern of "receive + agent + verb" are mainly played by nouns, pronouns and phrases, and the small predicate is played by single verbs and phrases and phrases centered on verbs.Semantic analysis mainly includes two aspects: semantic components and semantic features.According to the qualitative and indefinite components of the main subject,it is compared whether it has a comprehensive meaning. In terms of pragmatics, starting from the focus and contextual features of the "receive+agent+verb" sentence pattern,it is believed that this sentence pattern has the function of cohesive context, eliciting topics and emphasizing. The second chapter analyzes the syntax, semantics and pragmatics of the "agent +receive + verb" sentence structure separately. In terms of syntactic analysis, the large subject in the sentence pattern "agent + receive + verb" is mainly acted by pronouns, nouns and phrases;the small subject is mainly acted by nouns, pronouns, phrases and quantifiers;the small predicate is mainly acted by phrases centered on verbs. In terms of semantic analysis, the two forms of "agent + receive + verb" are analyzed based on the principle of whether the subject has the universal meaning or not.In terms of pragmatics,it is believed that the sentence pattern "agent + receive + verb" is mainly used for comparison and emphasis. The third chapter analyzes the restriction on the use of the sentence pattern "agent +receive(no ubiquitous meaning)+ verb" and the reasons for the restriction. This sentence pattern is mainly limited in three aspects: the small subject cannot be a noun at the beginning;the small subject cannot be too long;the small subject cannot form a compound reference with the third person giving and receiving.Three methods of cracking are proposed for the restricted use: adding tags, adding prepositions and adding question words, and finally analyze the reasons from the syntactic position and the narrative viewpoint. From the perspective of pragmatics, the fourth chapter discusses and analyzes the pragmatic functions of these two sentence patterns in a dynamic communicative environment. On the one hand,it describes and analyzes what the verbal communicators use these two sentence patterns in the specific colloquial corpus. The communicative intention,on the other hand, gives examples of the pronunciation and vocabulary of the two sentence patterns to analyze their expression of pragmatic markers in interactive communication. |
