Xiao Jianghong is a past-70 s young writer with outstanding creative achievements in Guizhou in recent years.He has devoted himself to writing with the spirit of a craftsman who has sharpened his sword for ten years.In 2007,he published his debut work “Hundred Birds and Phoenix” and was adapted into a movie by the fourth-generation director Wu Tianming,in 2018,he won the seventh novel award of the Lu Xun Literature Award for his novel “Mao Nian’.Xiao Jianghong rose to fame for a while and gained wide attention in the domestic literary world.In just over ten years of writing,he insisted on taking Qiandi as the starting point of writing,and described affectionately the “mountain changes in rural areas” in Guizhou since the new century,including questioning the living space and living conditions of Guizhou people,and modernity and humanity.Philosophical thinking on the direction of civilization.At the same time,on the basis of inheriting the local narrative tradition of civilization,he continued to actively explore the novel’s narrative method,and strived to develop new content and new forms that local novels can present at the moment.This makes the novel have the double value and significance of literature and culture,and plays an active role in promoting the future development of Guizhou native novels.This thesis consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,including research background and significance,research status and shortcomings,research ideas and innovations.The second part is “Country Story in Xiao Jianghong’s Works”.Based on the theoretical research of local narrative,based on the “vagrant” in the city and the “watch” in the countryside,this paper explores the changes in the living space and living conditions of the rural people in Guizhou under the impact of the modern era.The rural people who adhere to the land began to envy the urban consumer culture,just like the “Kite put into the city”.In the constant collision,they enteredthe dilemma of “identity aphasia” and “moral loss”.The steady state of the countryside is “developing abnormally”,while the left-behind are constantly facing the challenges of life and death,they are still tragically sticking to the traditional etiquette and civilization leading to the “last”.The third part is the narrative strategy of XiaoJianghong’s novel.Combining the relevant theoretical knowledge of classic narratology and post-classical narratology,this paper studies the narrative discourse,narrative perspective and narrative space in XiaoJianghong’s novels.The narrative discourse of XiaoJianghong’s novels presents distinctive “folkness” characteristics,including the conscious use of Guizhou local idioms in three aspects:descriptive narrative discourse,character dialogue,and folk songs.This not only makes their works have a clear “folk stand” value judgment and value identification,but also enables the novel to realize the unity of narrative content and narrative form,shape the character image,and satisfy readers’ lameness of “exotic emotions”.The narrative perspectives of XiaoJianghong’s novels are divided into other narrative forms,zero-focus perspectives of our narrative forms,and internal focus perspective of fluidity.Three types of perspectives are repeatedly practiced in the work,and they have a positive effect on the objectivity of the novel,the acceptability of the reader,and the multidimensional perspective of the story.The narrative spaces of XiaoJianghong’s novels are intertwined,presenting several different physical space forms.At the same time,he also uses space to express space,use space to structure the narrative structure,and suggests psychological changes in characters.The fourth part is the dual value of XiaoJianghong’s novels,namely literary value and cultural value.There are two main literary values,one is human the literary direction of“resistance” to “reconciliation” reveals Xiao Jianghong’s philosophy of the“authenticity” of human civilization study thinking,reflecting the profound ideological connotation value of its novels;the second is to interpret the electronic beauty beyond tragedy feel the value,including the tragedy of restraint,the spirit of dionysus and the divine god experience.The cultural value is mainly through Qiandi folk and presentation of Qiandi mountain culture. |
