| This paper focuses on researching the media formula of European oil painting masters in the 15th-17 th centuries.First,it summarizes and analyzes the research results of the predecessors Max Doerner and Jacques Maroger.Then,according to reports on the testing of media agents performed with modern scientific testing techniques,it was found that the media agents for European oil paintings are mainly composed of ordinary drying oil and heat-bodied oil,and some of them are mixed with pine resin.At the same time,many materials experts believe that the formula ingredient mastic varnish is not added to the media.On the basis of this fact,the author puts forward his own understanding and specific formula for the mediators of ancient European oil painting masters. |
