The Research On The Application Of Typology In Chinese Contemporary Photography

This paper mainly uses the method of literature research to discuss the concept of typology photography.According to the form,characteristics and concept of typology,it expounds the influence of typology on the development of contemporary photography in China,and probes into the development of Typology in the history of contemporary photography in China as well as the relevant images.Through the analysis of Chinese contemporary typological photography works,typological photography is used to develop portrait typology photography.The author started to write around this topic,hoping to refine the characteristics of this kind of image into a conceptual description,and provide some reference for photographers and related theoretical researchers who like typology photography.This paper makes a comprehensive explanation and analysis of the characteristics of "typology" portrait series photography by studying the unified method of relevant papers and photography practice,and by observing and demonstrating the existing literature reading research and visual analysis.In order to test the correctness of the research results,the author will independently create a series of photographic images of portrait typology: "professional faces".The author believes that portrait typology photography plays an important role in the subject of photography.After research and practice,the author summarizes the following three characteristics: first,"Typology" has played a role in calm observation and analysis in the use of such images,making this type of images typological.Meanwhile,it enables portrait typology photography to have the function of humanistic care and it is taken as a humanistic vision picture,which gradually becomes a mirror for everyone to examine themselves and inspect others.Secondly,this kind of image can present the photographer’s subjective expression and intention completely through a series of portrait typology images which are formed according to the classification method of "typology" around the theme.Third,typology portrait photography can fully present the description of people.According to its own unique attributes,the author describes and records his own position.In this process,the photographer’s pursuit of image language style makes this kind of images present unusual photographic records,and makes them open and diverse.
